Good News Net: Thursday, 8:45 PM CST This net is open to all licensed amateur operators. The net begins with check-ins and general announcements, followed by Amateur Radio Newsline. The net is held on the WD5ERD repeater which operates on 147.180 MHz with a positive (+) offset and a PL tone of 107.2 Hz. Sunday Evening Tech-Net: 2nd & 4th Sunday, 9:00 PM CST This net is held twice each month to discuss technical topics. Participation in the form of presenters and participants is encouraged from all amateures, regardless of license class or experience level. The idea is for hams to share their knowledge in their strong areas, and to provide a means for hams to learn in areas in which they are less experienced.
